GeoRedox is a startup developing processes for producing carbon-free hydrogen and heat by bringing water in contact with a variety of iron-containing rocks distributed widely on Earth – via an electron transfer process akin to “natural electrolysis”.
With our Advanced Weathering Enhancement (AWE) technology we accelerate known chemical processes in the earth’s crust many thousands of times. This catalyst-free approach reduces costs, as well as environmental risks.
We extensively leverage advances in computation, and unconventional oil and gas technology to produce hydrogen close to markets.
As a result, we can deliver clean hydrogen to our customers for less than they can make it on-site from natural gas.
